There is a repair on the back leg; I can see hairline cracks, possibly glue residue, and several chip damages.
Overall, this piece is in Fair Condition. Fine wears and scratches, some fine hairlines, some small nicks and chip damages, faint discolorations and residue. The roller ball is original as the color matches with the frog's body. Assumed this piece was dyed or color added.
I performed a tiny scratch test on the base, and white markings appeared with fine powders. Excellent carving work. Circa: 20th century, China.
REMINDER: I am not able to determine what the roller ball is used for.
